Reiki Level 2 Certification in Los Angeles
Level 1 taught you to work on yourself. Level 2 is where you learn to work on others, use the Reiki symbols, and send healing across any distance.
Over two in-person days, you receive your Level 2 attunements and the symbols, and you practice on real people until offering Reiki to someone else starts to feel natural. Certification comes when you are ready: you keep practicing after the weekend and test out with us when it feels right. We do not rush that. This work is deep, and it takes the time it takes.

For Level 1 graduates
When you're ready for more than self-practice
Level 1 gave you the foundation: a clear channel, a daily practice, the ability to work on yourself. Level 2 is for when that starts to feel like the beginning rather than the whole thing.
You might be here because you want to work on the people you love, learn distance healing, reach the deeper emotional patterns Level 1 does not, or start offering Reiki to others. Level 2 is where Reiki stops being something you do for yourself and becomes something you can offer.

What we do differently
We keep it small and unhurried, we teach it in person and hands-on, and we stay with our students after the weekend. No conveyor belt, no rushing you toward a certificate you do not feel ready for.
The symbols you'll learn
Held closely, passed teacher to student
Level 2 is built around the Reiki symbols. In the tradition they are held closely and passed from teacher to student, so we do not print them on a website. You will receive seven symbols in all: five from the Usui lineage and two from the Karuna tradition we also work with. What we can tell you is the nature of them.
Focusing and strengthening
One focuses and strengthens the energy, so you can concentrate it where it is needed and add power to any session.
The mental and emotional body
One works with the mental and emotional body, for anxiety, grief, and the tender, stuck places, where the work is less about the body and more about what it is holding.
Distance healing
One lets Reiki cross distance and time, so you can send healing to someone far away, or to a past event still sitting in the body.
And the Karuna symbols
Heart and relationship healing
One is for heart and relationship healing: forgiveness, trust, reconnection, the repair of a heart that has been closed for a while.
Deeper, older patterns
One reaches into deeper, older patterns: inner-child work, ancestral and karmic threads, the things stored so far back you may not consciously remember them.
How the two days work
Day 1:
Attunements and the symbols
You receive your Level 2 attunements and the symbols through meditation and direct transmission. You practice distance healing as both giver and receiver, so the most abstract part becomes something you have actually felt.
Day 2:
Working on others
You practice offering Reiki to other students, using the symbols. We cover working with emotional and mental patterns, holding Reiki with clear boundaries and integrity, and building a sustainable practice that fits your life.
What makes this one different
- Two full days, in person. The symbols and distance work need practice and repetition to land, so we give them a room and two days. Online Level 2 is real too; we trained that way ourselves. This is the in-person version.
- Small group. Kept small so you get real attention and real practice time, not a lecture.
- Both of us teach. Two styles, two sets of hands, so you can find your own way of working.
- You practice on real people. You leave having used every symbol on someone else, with us watching, so this becomes something you can actually do.

How we teach
We teach Level 2 together, and we keep working with our students after it. There is a monthly community practice and a group chat, so you are not left to figure it out alone. Both of us are certified Reiki Master Teachers in the Usui lineage, six years each.
The things people worry about
"I'm not sure I'm ready for this responsibility."
Worrying about the responsibility is usually a sign you take it seriously, and that instinct is a good one. The people who never worry are the ones we would gently slow down.
"What if I can't feel the energy strongly enough?"
Everyone feels it differently. Some get intense sensations, others a subtle shift into calm. Both are real, and you will feel it from both sides during the training.
"Other programs felt too commercial or rushed."
We keep it small and unhurried. Two days, real practice, no conveyor belt. You will not feel like a number here.
"Distance healing sounds too mystical to be real."
Fair. You will send and receive distance healing during the training, in your own body, and decide for yourself. We welcome skeptics.
"I worry the techniques are too complicated."
The symbols actually make the work simpler once they are in your hands, not harder. And distance healing means you can help someone without being in the room.
On timing
When you're ready
We are not going to tell you the stars are aligned. If you have been practicing and it feels like time, it probably is. The readiness is yours to feel, not ours to manufacture. The readiness call, if you want one, is a good place to talk it through.
The investment
What's included
$750 for Level 2. That includes two days of in-person training with both of us, your Level 2 attunements and all seven symbols (five Usui, two Karuna), your Level 2 manual, hands-on practice with other students, tea and refreshments, 30 days of WhatsApp support afterward, and access to our monthly community practice.
On certification: you are not rushed toward a certificate on the second afternoon. You practice after the weekend and test out with us when you feel ready. That is included, on your timing.

Frequently asked questions
How long should I wait between Level 1 and Level 2?
A few months is typical, but there is no hard rule. If you have been practicing and can channel Reiki comfortably, you are likely ready. Trust your read, and we will talk it through if you are unsure.
Will this let me practice Reiki professionally?
Level 2 gives you the skills to offer Reiki to others. The certification comes once you have practiced and tested out with us, which we do when you feel ready rather than on a fixed date. Requirements to practice vary by location; in California you can work as a complementary-therapy practitioner.
How is this different from an online Level 2?
Online Level 2 is real, and we say that as two people who trained virtually ourselves. What in-person adds is the hands-on practice, learning alongside a group, and a weekend immersed in a space set aside for this. The distance work is often easier to feel the first time with a partner in the room.
What if cost is a barrier?
We do not run standard payment plans, but if finances are a real barrier, reach out. We can sometimes find a way to make it work.
Do I have to be spiritual to take this?
Not at all. People come in at every level, from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners, and that mix makes for richer discussion and practice.
Can I bring my partner or a friend?
Yes, and many people do. Learning together gives you a practice partner and a shared language for it afterward.
Does distance healing really work across space?
The honest answer: try it and see. You will send and receive it during the training, in your own body, and decide for yourself. We welcome skeptics.
What if I'm not naturally intuitive?
Intuition grows with practice. The training includes gentle exercises to build it. Plenty of our strongest practitioners started out sure they were not intuitive enough.
What if I have a busy schedule?
The training is a weekend, Saturday and Sunday, so it fits around a working week. Beyond that, Reiki takes minutes, not hours, to fold into a busy life.
What if I have to miss part of it?
Life happens. If an emergency pulls you away, we will work with you to catch up the missed piece through a private session or a future circle.
What should I bring?
An open mind and comfortable clothes. We provide the manual, materials, water, and refreshments. Bring a journal if you like to write things down.
