The Sound Therapy Workbook
A 20-page workbook for using sound, starting with your own voice, to come down out of a too-loud life.
You already know this works. A song arrives at the right moment and something in you loosens, before you have decided anything about it. Sound reaches the body ahead of the thinking mind, and sound therapy is that ordinary fact used on purpose.
This is a practical education in how to do it, with practices that need nothing but your own voice.

The honest frame
One promise about honesty. The research here is young, and plenty of what circulates online, like the idea that a specific frequency heals a specific organ, has nothing behind it. You will not find those claims in these pages. What is well supported is quieter and more useful, and it is what this workbook teaches.
What’s inside
Six sections, built to be worked in order:
- What sound therapy is, and what it is not
- How sound reaches the body: entrainment, the long exhale, a place to rest attention, and a signal of safety
- The noise cycle, and why the way out is chosen sound rather than silence
- What the research honestly shows, held lightly where it should be
- Where sound already works in your life, mapped so you can build on it
- The instruments and what each one actually does, from singing bowls to your own voice
- Your first sound session at home, with the workbook’s arrive, receive, integrate steps
- The hum, the one practice worth keeping, plus sound hygiene and a seven-day listening log
Who it’s for
For people whose days have been too loud for too long, and who reach for the phone the moment a room falls quiet. If you want a grounded, honest way into sound without the magical claims, this was written for you.
It is not clinical music therapy, which is a credentialed field of its own, and it does not replace your care. It is a self-guided practice for shifting your state, so the rest of your care has somewhere settled to land.
Format
20 pages, the shortest in the collection and the most hands-on. Type into the fields on your screen, or print it and write by hand. Do the practices with your eyes closed where you can. Reading about sound is not the same as being in it.
Your investment
$24 $16
Regularly $24, at a standing price of $16. No countdown. This is simply what it costs.

A note on working with us
We hold sound sessions downstairs in the Sanctuary, with the gong and the bowls. If you would like to be in the sound rather than only read about it, our door is open, and a conversation is a good place to start.
